The vase has a pair of molded animal-mask and ring handles on the shoulders below the shallow, waisted neck and dish-shaped mouth. The exterior is covered with a glaze of deep egg yolk-yellow color that pools in a narrow line on the edge of the foot, and which also covers the base. The mouth rim and interior are white. The base is incised with a Qianlong six-character seal mark.
