Each is decorated on the bulbous body and flared neck with a band of composite foliate meander between petal-lappet, ruyi and key-fret borders.

Note: A pair of similar Daoguang-marked zhadou was sold at Christie's New York, 15-16 September 2011, lot 1527, and a single example was sold 21-22 March 2013, lot 1532.
