of rectangular form, finely carved on one side in varying layers of relief with an idyllic rocky landscape setting laden with verdant vegetation and large mountainous cliffs, a small pavilion set in the foreground and depicted with several scholars engaging in leisurely pursuits, all between two imperial poems carved in clerical script and filled in with gold on the sides, terminating with Liu Yong's signature, the reverse inlaid with mother-of-pearl with a wondrous scene depicting butterflies and a bat in mid-flight amidst a riverscape scene set with a few pavilions and decorated with floral sprigs, fitted on a huanghuali stand.
