A jadeite plume holder, late Qing dynasty (1644-1911)

The holder is shaped as a hollowed, slightly tapering cylinder, surmounted by an arched finial pierced in the middle to form a suspension loop. The stone is of a bright apple-green tone partially suffused with milky-white mottling and minor russet inclusions.
Note: An identification report from Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory Limited confirms that the present lot is natural green jadeite.
