of square form, the top part divided into five open compartments, framing a drawer decorated with precious objects, all above a pair of cabinets with double doors carved with scholars in a landscape, the sides framed by rectangular panels enclosing precious objects, all divided by keyfret borders, the top with meandering lotus sprays amongst interlocking square scrolls against a cellular diaper ground, the interior and reverse lacquered black.
