the first of trapezoidal form and subtly and crisply worked with bevelled edges, the stone of a rich moss-green colour variegated with white and black inclusions, pierced with two conjoined circular apertures; the other similarly worked from a variegated hunter-green stone with a tapering form, well polished with flat sides and pierced with small apertures.
Provenance: An important Asian collection, acquired in the 1980s or earlier.
