the rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a flared rim, the exterior with three gilt-bordered medallions, each enclosing a ram under a fruiting tree, divided by blue and white vases holding peony branches and various auspicious objects, surrounded by pomegranates and lingzhi stems, all reserved on a bright lemon-yellow ground decorated in sgraffiato technique with feathery scrollwork, the interior in cobalt blue with a medallion enclosing three further rams, encircled on the well by four fruiting and flowering branches suspending auspicious emblems such as a ruyi sceptre, a chime, a double-gourd and a fish, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark.
