of conical form, superbly potted with the deep sides raised on a short foot, covered overall with a lustrous black glaze accentuated with freely splashed russet streaks powerfully radiating from the interior center towards the rim, the glaze stopping neatly above the finely pared foot to reveal the buff-colored stoneware body.
