The saucer is enamelled with immortals in the mirror, the caveto is decorated with clouds and Shou characters alternately, the outside is decorated with eight free-standing floral tendrils. 

Provenance: From an important private collection in southern Germany, collected between 1950 and 1987.

Note: A very similar bowl from the imperial collection is preserved in the collection of the Palace Museum Beijing and published in "Porcelain in Polychrome and Contrasting Colours - The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum", Hong Kong 1999, no. 43.
