18 kt., the bombé flower inset with vari-sized round and oval sapphires, with polished flared petals and curved stem, signed St. N. Herz Belperron, with maker's mark and French assay mark, ap. 21.3 dwts.
Note: The singular jewelry designer Suzanne Belperron established her iconic style first working under the Boivin house. She moved to Herz in the early 1930s, and following World War II, she would become its head, forming the house of Herz-Belperron. Soft, natural forms, colorism and whimsy are signatures of her design.
