NoteBased on earlier enamelled models first made during the Kangxi period, several bowls of this combination and size bearing a Daoguang mark are known, compare, for instance, a bowl of this type in the Baur Collection, Geneva, illustrated in John Ayers, Chinese Ceramics in The Baur Collection, vol. 1, Geneva, 1999, cat. no. 338. Another example is published in Imperial Porcelain of Late Qing from the Kwan Collection, Hong Kong, 1983, cat. no. 42; and a third example, recently sold in these rooms, 3rd November 2021, lot 150.
