The bowl has a six-flap aioli mouth and a deep, sloping wall, and is surmounted by a footrim, the foot inscribed in blue and white seal script 'Made during the Qianlong era'. The glaze is blue and rich, like fat, and the two-colour floral pattern is horizontal and vertical, flowing freely and in varying shades.
