A rectangular-shaped pottery tile with a brown ground decorated with a dotted and vegetal motifs and navy glazed calligraphy in relief. This tile, which would have originally been one of a series of tiles running along the wall of a building, is a testament to the technical skills of Seljuk craftsmen.

A ceramic bowl of hemispherical shape rising from a ring foot. The interior is painted in black and pale blue under a transparent glaze, decorated with a radial design around the central register featuring four inscribed panels, alternating with blue stripes and panels of abstract motifs.

A nicely formed pottery bowl with its interior decorated with white tin glaze slip with black painted Kufic script. Nishapur was an ancient and medieval city in Iran, famous for its rich ceramic, glass and metalwork traditions, until it was destroyed by the Mongols in 1221.

A rare cast bronze jug of a globular body, resting on a flattened base, gently tapering from the mid-body to a short cylindrical neck with a flared rim. The curving spout ends in a dragon's head and the handle is in the form of a stylised dragon with an S-shaped body.
