Provenance: Formerly in the collection of Gustave Maignan (1880-1945), General Officer of the Colonial Infantry. 

Note: The two stupas were offered to Gustave Maignan by the Captain Pinault following the archaeological excavations carried out in 1930 on 'île aux Buissons' (Tonkin).
