Lot 32. A Longquan celadon 'Twin fish' dish, China, Yuan - Ming period; d. 19.2 cm. Estimate € 2.000,00 / 3.000,00. Courtesy Marco Polo. The rounded sides rising from the tapered foot to the everted rim are sculpted on the outside with a band of petals, while the centre of the interior is decorated in relief with two small fish, all under a green glaze that also covers the inside of the foot.Provenance: a private collection from Rome.
