Lot 5. A rare and fine crescent-shaped bronze object, late Xia-early Shang period, 16th-15th century BC.; 15,7 x 16 cm. Sold: €40 000 (Estimate €15 000 - €25 000). Photo Nagel Auction. Bronze with small turquoise inlays and 2 eyelets at the pointed ends for attaching or pulling through a cord or strap. It is very likely that this is either a neck or breast ornament.
