Jade bi disc with cloud scrolls pattern, late Warring States period (275-221 BCE), seal script inscribed by Emperor Qianlong Yiwei (40th year, 1775)? 20.0 cm in diameter and 0.7 cm in thickness. National Palace Museum, Taipei.
The body of the vessel is in the shape of a round plate with a round hole in the center. The jade itself is a work of the Qijia culture of the late Neolithic Age, and the decoration was added from the late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty. Both sides are carved with cloud patterns. The color of the jade is green and white, fine and moist, and the exposed areas are brown in different shades. On the periphery is a seal script inscribed by Emperor Qianlong Yiwei (40th year, 1775), and underneath there are the seal characters "Qian" and "Long" in consecutive seals.
