Lot 297. A 'Longquan' celadon dish, Ming dynasty (1368-1644); 21.5 cm, 8 1/2  in. Estimate 1,000-1,500 GBP. Lot sold 1,250 GBP. © Sotheby's. the shallow rounded sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim, the interior encircled by lobes in the well, covered overall in a bluish-green glaze save for the base which has a ring burnt orange in the firing. Lot 291. A 'Longquan' celadon lobed dish, Ming dynasty (1368-1644); 32.5 cm, 12 3/4  in. Estimate 3,000-5,000 GBP. Lot sold 3,750 GBP. © Sotheby's. the heavily-potted rounded lobed sides rising from a short foot to an everted barbed rim, the interior carved with a floral spray in the well, covered overall with a soft sea-green glaze with the exception of the wide russet ring at the base.
