The vase is finely potted with a compressed globular body supported on a splayed foot, rising to a tubular neck. It is covered overall with a pale grey glaze suffused with black 'iron wire' crackle, connected with some pale 'golden thread' crackle. The foot ring is covered with a chocolate-brown dressing. 8 7/8 in. (22.5 cm.) high. Estimate $232,874 - $323,436

Of square section, the vase is strongly potted in archaistic form, moulded in shallow relief with the Bagua, the Eight Daoist Trigrams on each face below a circular mouth and raised on a splayed foot ring, all under a thick pale grey glaze with dark grey and brown crackles throughout. Each dish is thinly potted with a short foot rising to the flaring sides, covered in a brilliant lemon-yellow enamel with the exception of the base which is inscribed with the reign mark in cobalt blue under a transparent glaze. 4 3/8 in. (11 cm.) diam. (2). Estimate $38,812 - $64,687

The wide body rising from a recessed circular foot, the interior moulded with subtle vertical ribs imitating floral petals, the exterior lightly incised with anhua floral scrolls all around beneath a band of keyfret scroll at the rim. 20.8cm diam. Estimate US$ 52,000 - 77,000

The vase is finely potted with moulded horizontal bowstrings around the compressed globular body and columnar neck rising to a flared mouth rim. It is covered overall in a brilliant glaze of reddish-purple tone mottled with milky pale blue and lavender, draining to mushroom at the rim and milky blue suffused with lavender hues on the interior.
