Lot 725. A very rare ‘Number Three’ Jun tripod narcissus bowl, Yuan-Ming dynasty, 14th-15th century. Estimate USD 300,000 - USD 500,000. Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2016. The sturdily potted, shallow rounded body is applied with a band of sixteen ‘nail-head’ bosses above the three ruyi-shaped feet, and a further band of nineteen bosses possitioned between a bow-string border and the raised edge of the rim.
