Lot 3411. A large Longquan celadon carved 'peony' charger, Ming dynasty, 15th century; 18 1/8 in. (46 cm.) diam. Estimate HKD 150,000 - HKD 200,000. Sturdily potted, the centre is carved with a single peony spray below a band of narrow fluted petals in the cavetto below the sloped, broad mouth rim.
