(17 cm.) diam. Estimate USD 5,000 - USD 7,000. Price realised USD 13,750. © Christie's Images Ltd 2014  The deep sides are finely decorated with two scenes from the Yuan dynasty novel, Xixiangji ('Romance of the Western Chamber'), above a band of iron-red peony scroll that encircles the foot.
