Lot 206. A 'Longquan' celadon carved 'floral' meiping, early Northern Song dynasty. Estimate 6,000 — 8,000 GBP (7,663 - 10,217 EUR). Photo Sotheby's the tapering ovoid body rising to a waisted neck and everted rim, freely carved to the exterior with an undulating floral scroll between lappet bands, covered overall in a translucent olive-green glaze stopping just above the foot revealing the grey buff body; 15.7 cm, 6 1/8  in.
