Lot 685. A large 'Jun' bowl, Song-Ming dynasty. Estimate 80,000 — 120,000 HKD. Unsold. Photo Sotheby's. well potted with deep rounded sides supported on a slightly splayed foot, applied with a pale blue glaze thinning to a mushroom tone from the rim and pooling in a thicker purplish layer to the interior, the glaze stopping unevenly above the base and foot revealing a greyish ware partly burnt to orange in the firing; 20.5 cm, 8 in.
