The famous Cobalt Blue Dish of Albenga.
One of the most valuable archaeological finds discovered at Albenga is a great dish cobalt blue, found intact, made with a mold, but embellished with grinding, carving and then sanding the wheel, found in a tomb of the second century AD. The figures that decorate the center are made "negative relief" and are a pair of Putti who dance in honor of Bacchus with soft features.
