A Torque. Benares. 18th Century

A Torque. Benares. 18th Century A stiff gold collar decorated with foiled white sapphires. On the reverse a lavish decoration in gulabi mina ( pink enamel ) of flowers and birds. The lions worked into the fret design are indications of royal use.
