Brushrest, Wanli mark and period, c. 1575 - c. 1600, blue and white porcelain, h 10cm × w 16.5cm. AK-RBK-1955-7. Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Brushrest with semi- elliptical wall in the form of five peaks that rise from the sea with rocks. The mountain peaks are formed by five five-clawed dragons with multiple small holes. Painted in underglaze blue. At the bottom the six-character mark Wanli in a double rectangle.
