A large greenish-white jade facetted baluster vase and cover, 18th century

Lot 227. A large greenish-white jade facetted baluster vase and cover, 18th century; 11 ¾ in. (31 cm. high). Estimate GBP 50,000 - GBP 80,000. Price realised GBP 68,750. © Christie's Images Ltd 2019. The body is carved to all sides in low relief with branches of prunus above a band of petal lappets. The waisted neck is carved with two elephant's-head handles.
