Blanc de Chine : entre tradition et modernité à la galerie 1618

PARIS - « Blanc de Chine » est une expression française traduite telle quelle en chinois moderne (zhongguo bai 中國白). Elle sert à désigner la porcelaine blanche provenant de Dehua, dans la province côtière du Fujian. Cette ville est réputée, depuis la seconde moitié du dixième siècle, pour la qualité exquise de sa porcelaine à la teinte blanche translucide.
