Silver small dish, North of India, Bujh, Cutch, Gujarat, circa 1880. Photo courtesy Alexis Renard. Silver, (diam:15,5 cm). This small dish is adorned by a lotus flower and two friezes of interlaces. Cutch silverwork was appreciated in the late XIXth century and was exhibited in Europe, in events such as the Paris Universal Exposition of 1878.
