A famille rose figural group of the 'Laughing Twins', Hehe Erxian, Jiaqing. Photo Bonhams. Amusingly modelled striding forward together, one with a leafy stem issuing a lotus pod and bud over his right shoulder, his left arm wrapped around his companion holding a basket-weave box, both figures with cropped hair enamelled in grisaille above rosy cheeks and laughing broadly. 23cm (9in) high. 'Looted' Chinese antiques pulled from Bonhams auction to "avoid any possible offence"
