Two Junyao bowls, Song-Yuan Dynasty. Estimate  £500 - 700 (€700 - 980). Photo courtesy Bonhams. The first conical bowl with smoothly curving sides, covered in a thick sky-blue glaze, thinning to a mushroom colour at the mouth rim and pooling at the low footrim; the second conical bowl with a mottled blue and lavender hued glaze with a purple splash to the well. The largest: 21.7cm (8 1/2in) diam. A large Junyao bowl, Southern Song-Yuan Dynasty. Photo Bonhams. Sturdily potted with rounded sides rising steeply from a short slightly-spreading unglazed foot, covered overall in an unctuous lavender-blue glaze, thinning to a greyish hue on the rim. 20.5cm diam. Estimate HK$ 200,000 - 300,000 (€19,000 - 28,000). Unsold. A Junyao bowl, Northern Song-Jin dynasty

A Junyao bowl, Northern Song-Jin dynasty. Photo Bonhams. Molded with a wide, curving well and raised on a tall foot, the glaze covering all surfaces except the foot pad of sky blue hue where thickly applied around the lower exterior and interior walls and thinning to a pale olive green along the rim, the glaze layer displaying long craze lines and burst bubbles. 7 3/8in (18.7cm) diameter.
