Attributed to the Lavabre workshop. Lavabre supplied Cartier Paris with diamond set jewels and a necklace of identical design made by Lavabre for Cartier is held in the Cartier Collection. Rare Louis XV gold snuff box sells for over 150,000 at Bonhams Fine Silver and Gold Boxes sale

LONDON.- A rare Louis XV vari-coloured gold and enameled snuff box was sold for £158,500 at Bonhams Fine Silver and Gold Boxes sale in London yesterday (18 June).
