Lot 192. A rare carved and white-glazed pillow, Song Dynasty (960-1279). Estimate GBP 10,000 - GBP 15,000 (USD 12,460 - USD 18,690). Photo Christie's Images Ltd 2016.  The top of the pillow is carved with a dense pattern of cash symbols, covered overall in a cream glaze. The unglazed base has a small aperture and the back of the pillow has two small vent holes. 9 3/16 in.
