Sold: £8,125. © Sotheby's the flattened double-gourd body painted in rich cobalt-blue tones to the lower bulb with figures offering tribute, the upper bulb with birds amidst a lotus pond and the neck with a dragon quatrefoil panel, the reverse inscribed with the six-character mark above a rectangular aperture for suspension. Lot 70. A Blue And White 'Bajixiang' Jar, Wanli Mark And Period (1573-1620); 12.6cm., 5in.
