A pair of white-glazed altar vessels, dou, Guangxu incised six-character marks in a line and of the period (1875-1908). Estimate HKD 200,000 - HKD 300,000 (USD 25,894 - USD 38,840). Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2016. Each is modelled after an archaic bronze dou as a stem bowl and cover, and moulded with various decorative bands of archaistic design. The mark is incised in a line inside the flared foot. 10 in. A blue-glazed altar vessel. Xianfeng six-character seal mark and of the period  (1850 -1861). Photo Bonhams Of archaistic dou form, the semi-spherical rounded bowl bordered by a shallow engraved band towards the rim, also with ten sectioned rectangular enclosure, each with a dotted decoration, all supported on a tall cylindrical splayed and hollow foot, with a frieze of pendant trefoils and triangular work. 16cm high.
