A Cizhou type black glazed bottle. Jin-Yuan Dynasty Of pear form raised on a tall foot and finished with a rim to the flared neck, the black slip glaze applied to the exterior brushed with a lighter iron oxide wash to form a stylized leaf scroll design. 11 3/4in (29cm) high.
