Polychrome enamel on a copper body. In the centre a circular reserve with 3 peaches, surrounded by a large yellow-ground border at the rim with 2 dragons and 2 phoenix birds. At the outer wall a revolving depiction of the '3 Abundances' (peach, pomegranate and finger citron 'Buddha's Hand') on a white underground. Four-character Yongzheng-mark. Diam. 22,5 cm. Of compressed globular form, the cover displaying a figural roundel surrounded by floral reserves within a diaper band that repeats on the outer walls of the box, the white enamel on the interior also applied to the recessed base bearing thefour-character mark in blue enamel (wear). 2 1/8in (5.5cm) diameter. In Georgian silver style with columnar supports above square pedestal bases, all delicately enameled with scattered floral sprigs, the blooms lavender on grisaille leafy stems, between narrow borders in grisaille and blue enamel, inside the removable bobeche further blue borders; 12¼ in.
