Thin and carved in relief with scalloped depressions imitating chrysanthemum petals that repeat in high relief to the floor of the wide well, the exterior, walls, foot ring and the recessed base; the brightly polished matrix displaying some natural surface fissures and ranging in color from white through olive green to dark gray. 6 1/4in (16cm) diameter.
