Iznik dish, Turkey, circa 1600, 26cm diameter. Amir Mohtashemi Ltd at Brafa Art Fair, Brussels, 21-29 january 2017. The polychrome dish is decorated with a large turquoise, blue and bole red ewer to the centre surrounded by floral sprays on a white ground. The key fret border on the rim depicted with bole red on a white ground with a black outlined border. The reverse of the dish is painted with blue and turquoise floral buds.
