Lot 1262. A blue-glazed faceted pear-shaped vase, fanghu, 18th-19th century; 13 7/8 in. (35 cm.) high. Estimate USD 6,000 - USD 8,000. Price realised USD 13,750. © Christie's Images Ltd 2013. The pear-shaped body of rectangular section tapers towards the neck which is flanked by a pair of lug handles. The vase is covered overall with a deep, blue glaze. An exceptionally rare famille rose faceted pear-shaped vase, Qianlong six-character seal mark in iron red and of the period (1736-1795). Estimate 600,000 – $800,000.
