A rare gallo-roman blue-green blown glass lidded urn or cinerarium. 1st-2nd century A.D. The large globular body with concave base, the wide everted rim hollow-folded outwards to form a flat tubular rim, two large vertical trailed glass handles attached to rim and lower belly of the urn, each with pinched ornamental fold at base, in the centre and at the top, the lid with perforation through the knob, traces of purple and coloured iridescence around the rim. 11 5/8 in. A moulded glass Bowl . Persia, 10th/ 11th Century in a dark bluish-green tone, with a tooled rim on straight flaring walls and pushed-in base with a conical kick and pontil mark underneath, blown into a mould decorated with vertical ribbing sandwiching a horizontal row of six omphalos motifs. 15 cm. diam., 6.3 cm. high. A glass Perfume Bottle. Syria, 7th-9th Century free-blown in greenish-colourless glass, the funnel mouth with a rounded rim and hollow flange on an elongated ovoid body tapering to a knob-like base, the upper part decorated with two thick vertical pincered trails in contrasting bluish-green glass, while the four similar trails in alternating bluish-green and colourless glass on the lower body also form feet on which teh vessel stands. 9.2 cm. high. An Abbasid moulded glass Bottle with Figures. Persia or Mesopotamia, 8th-11th Century made in green glass with bluish tinge, the funnel neck with cut and smoothed rim on a body blown into an octagonal mould, each panel decorated with a figure with a large head, seven facing figures with their arms held out differently, and one sitting sideways holding a rud upright, a six-petalled rosette on the underside of base. 9 cm. high. A rare stemmed glass Goblet  Persia or Syria, 10th - 13th Centuries finely blown in a yellowish-colourless glass, the tall rounded funnel bowl on a slender solid stem and splayed foot with a rounded edge, the bowl decorated with three horizontal trails enclosing in the upper band a row of alternate bluish-green and colourless applied prunts, and below, two rows of alternately coloured prunts. 7 cm. diam., 12.8 cm. high.
