A rare green-enamelled 'Dragon' dish, Zhengde six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle and of the period (1506-1521). Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2014. The dish is finely potted with rounded shallow sides, supported on a short slightly tapered foot. The exterior is incised and enamelled in green with two striding dragons, and the interior depicts a sinuous dragon amongst scrolling clouds and flames contained within a central medallion. 8 in. A very rare Green-Enamelled ‘Dragon’ Bottle Vase, Daoguang iron red six-character seal mark and of the period (1821-1850). Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2013 Potted with a long neck and globular body, the exterior is enamelled in green and black with three five-clawed writhing dragons confronting a 'flaming pearl' among floating clouds, between gilt borders on the mouth rim and base.
