A Korean inlaid celadon glazed vase, Goryeo dynasty (918-1392), 13th century

Lot 1044. A fine iron-decorated porcelain moon flask, Joseon dynasty (1392-1897), 17th-18th century; 10 1/4in (26cm). Estimate US$ 1,200-1,800. Sold for US$ 1,020 (€ 869). Courtesy Bonhams The heavily potted cylindrical body tapering inward to a narrow neck and everted rim, painted in iron oxide on three faces with a stylized tree.
