Lot 1629. A large blue and white dish, Ming dynasty, late 16th century; 17 in. (43 cm.) diam. Estimate USD 10,000 - USD 15,000. © Christie's Images Ltd 2019  The dish has rounded sides and an inverted rim, and is decorated in the center with two pairs of Buddhist lions playing with ribboned brocade balls encircled by a band of ruyi-heads.
