Lot 2919. A rare Ding black-glazed gilt-decorated vase, yuhuchunping, Late Northern Song dynasty, late 11th-early 12th century; 8 ¼ in. (21.1 cm.) high. Estimate HKD 1,200,000 - HKD 1,800,000. Price realised HKD 1,625,000. © Christie's Images Ltd 2018. Bruce Dayton, trustee of 73 years at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, passed away

A man of high standards and unmatched generosity, Mr. Dayton was a true philanthropist. MINNEAPOLIS, MN.- The Trustees of the Minneapolis Institute of Art sadly announced today the passing of its Life Trustee, of great distinction, Bruce B. Dayton.
