A purple-splashed Jun bowl, Northern Song-Jin Dynasty, 12th-13th century. Estimate HK$ 240,000 – HK$400,000 ($31,113 - $51,854). A purple-splashed Jun bowl, Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Estimate £6,000 – £8,000 ($9,252 - $12,336). Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2015 The bowl is potted with deep rounded sides, covered overall in a pale blue glaze with deep purple splashes, thinning to a mushroom tone to the mouth rim.
