Tea bowl, 12th–14th century. Stoneware, hare’s fur“ glaze; height 4,5 cm, depth Ø 10,1 cm. National Gallery of Prague, Vu 225. Teacups of coarse material with thick, heavy glaze are a typical example of Jian yao ceramics, named after the locality in Fujian province where the rustic workshops were in operation. Tea bowl, Song dynasty, ca 12th century. Stoneware, black glaze; height 5,5 cm, depth Ø 12,6 cm. National Gallery of Prague, Vu 3944.
