Lot 75. A turquoise-inlaid bronze hilt, Ge, Late Shang Dynasty (1600-1027 BC); 6 in. (15.1 cm.) long. Estimate GBP 10,000 - GBP 15,000 (USD 13,050 - USD 19,575). © Christie's Images Ltd 2019. The hilt is cast in the form of a coiled dragon with a tail in the form of a bird with a hooked beak, and the body is inlaid on both sides with turquoise.
