Lot 3420. A white-glazed jar and cover, Chenghua period (1465-1487); 7 in. (17.8 cm.) overall height. Estimate HKD 800,000 - HKD 1,200,000. Price Realized HKD 1,000,000. © Christie's Image Ltd 2014. The jar is well potted with an ovoid body raised on a slightly splayed foot rising to broad rounded shoulders underneath a tall tapering neck. The bell-shaped cover is surmounted by a bud finial.
